Privacy at BD-S
How we handle personal information when you visit our website or contact our team.
Last updated 20 October 2026
Information we collect
Born Digital Solutions (BD-S) collects personal information only when we need it to respond to you.
- When you contact us by email at hello@bd-s.com.au or by phone on 1300 092 685, we receive your name, contact details, your organisation and whatever you choose to tell us in your message or call.
- When you choose a light or dark theme, or change a setting on the stress ball page, that preference is saved in your own browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. It is not sent to us.
The website has no contact form, account sign-in, newsletter or comments. It does not set cookies. If you go on to engage BD-S, the information we collect for that engagement is governed by the contract for that work, and this page covers the website and your first contact with us.
How we use information
We use the information you give us to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide the information you asked for about our services, pricing or procurement pathways
- manage our relationship with you and your organisation
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use your details for direct marketing unless you ask us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Website hosting and visitor information
BD-S hosts and operates this website. We do not capture visitor information or use visitor analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels.
If you contact us by email or phone, we receive the information you choose to provide and use it to respond to your enquiry.
Links to LinkedIn, vendor websites and other external sites take you to services with their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Storage, service providers and disclosure
Email and phone enquiries are held in the business systems BD-S uses for email and telephony. The website's content database holds published content, such as case studies and vendor information, not visitor information.
The providers of our email and telephony systems may process information on our behalf in order to deliver those services. Some of these providers may store or process information in locations outside Australia. Contact us if you would like to know more about where information about you is held.
We disclose personal information only when it is needed to respond to you, when the law requires it, or with your consent. We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected or as the law requires, and we take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
Access and correction requests
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to correct it. Email hello@bd-s.com.au with your request.
We may need to confirm your identity before we respond. We will respond within a reasonable time, and if we cannot give you access or make a correction we will tell you why.
Privacy questions and complaints
If you have a question about this page or how we have handled your personal information, email hello@bd-s.com.au or call 1300 092 685. We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it and respond to you.
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
